NCOURAGE owner, Nate Copeland, is an inclusive executive with over four decades of experience leading business operations, business winning, organizational/team leadership, and creating organizational cultures where all truly thrive. Having served in the military and with large, mid-sized, and small businesses, Nate has provided a broad range of services to multiple three-letter US Federal agencies globally. His experience has always been an interesting blend of Federal Contracting and people/culture development. He is a member of the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team, a Certified Culture Facilitator, and a Maxwell Certified Behavioral Analysis Trainer and Consultant.

I have had the opportunity to work with Nate Copeland for nearly two decades in various government contracting and leadership roles. Recently, we asked Nate to support our supervisory training initiatives by providing a seminar related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for our management cadre. The session was so great and well received by our management cadre that we asked Nate to present the following month on Employee Engagement Best Practices. I have personally and professionally known Nate Copeland for over 15 years. In our time working together, he demonstrated the ability to be a hands-on leader, able to interact and communicate with people at all levels. My company recently wanted to provide an “Inclusive Workplace” seminar for our leadership team. This team includes Team Leads who work onsite with our staff and customers up to our Executive Staff including CEO. Nate has a unique ability to communicate with all levels and people from all backgrounds. His presentation was interactive and engaged the team to openly discuss various topics that would often not be broached. He made everyone comfortable and feel they were in an environment of inclusivity. I received multiple accolades from the staff after the seminar, with many mentioning how they expected it to be more confrontational than it was. Instead, they felt reinvigorated from the conversations and a better understanding of how to approach various situations in their work environment. Nate impressed myself and other members of the executive staff so much that we asked him to return and provide a seminar on Leadership and Employee Engagement. Again, he was able to lead this seminar in a way that engaged all levels of leadership and ensured an interactive experience. Nate Copeland has demonstrated creative intelligence and wisdom as he has risen to some of the highest levels within America’s corporate ladder, Nate draws from his own personal experiences when speaking of diversity and the power it can bring to an organization. I had the privilege to work with Nate as he led us through the development of our Frontline Leadership program.
